CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (MAY 2026) – BankIowa is pleased to announce the promotion of Robb Loftsgard to Corridor Market President. Loftsgard, who recently joined BankIowa in January of this year, will now lead the bank’s Corridor Market, spanning the Cedar Rapids through Iowa City metro areas. Loftsgard served under the leadership of the former Corridor Market President, Russ Breazeale, who is transitioning to a part time role as he moves toward retirement. Russ was invaluable in helping transition Loftsgard for the role.

As Market President, Loftsgard will also be responsible for coaching and coordinating sales and service initiatives across the market’s Consumer and Business Banking divisions, Mortgage Banking, Trust Services, and Investment Representatives.

"Russ Breazeale has done an excellent job in helping us grow in the market. We knew we needed an experienced professional to continue the growth momentum in the Corridor, so we carefully looked for candidates with extensive banking experience, credibility, and visibility to assume the role of Corridor Market President. Robb’s thirty years of banking experience and extensive involvement in our community make him a great fit for BankIowa’s Corridor Market President," said Alison Urbina, CEO of BankIowa. “Robb will continue the bank’s focus on delivering outstanding experiences for our customers.”
